About Steph Bentley

Hi, I am an integrative counsellor based in Leeds. I am trained in person-centred counselling and also use trauma-informed approaches in my work.

I offer counselling for adults (18+) of all backgrounds, genders, and identities. My aim is to provide a safe, calm, and supportive space where you can be yourself.

My approach is warm and collaborative. I won’t judge you or tell you what to do. Instead, I will support you to explore your thoughts and feelings in a way that feels manageable.

I am a neurodivergent therapist and offer neuro-affirming counselling. I understand that everyone’s brain works differently, and I will adapt sessions to suit you.

I have previous experience volunteering at a women’s centre for two years, where I supported clients with a range of experiences including trauma, bereavement, relationship difficulties, and low self-worth.

I am passionate about emotional growth and healing, and I have also had many years of my own therapy. This helps me understand what it feels like to be a client.

If you are looking for counselling in Leeds or online therapy, you are welcome to get in touch for a free 15-minute phone consultation.
